Dah Ki Me - "Our House"
The Tahltan Band is united, and works together to be self-sufficient and preserve our rich culture and community
Mission

The Tahltan Band is united, and works together to be self-sufficient. Our culture is rich and colours every task throughout the day. Our people are healthy and have appropriate housing and infrastructure, including recreation opportunities. We believe in life-long learning. We are employed in jobs that are meaningful to us, and we have control over our lands and resources.

New Website

The Tahltan Band Council is currently in the process of developing a new, interactive website. The current space will serve as a temporary home while we work on building the rest of the site and all of its great features. We look forward to sharing the finished project with you soon!

Chief's Welcome

WELCOME!

We, the Chief and Council, are delighted to welcome you to the online meeting place of the Tahltan Band.

One of the most important responsibilities of any government, we believe, is to be transparent about its activities. The need for a central place where members can access reliable and up-to-date information about what is happening in our community is a top priority for us.

Over the past few years we have faced many challenges, but also many opportunities to grow and prosper.  Many more challenges and opportunities lie ahead.  Through this site, we aim to keep you informed about the work we are doing to meet these challenges and our plans to strengthen our community socially, economically and culturally.

The website will be updated regularly with event postings, news and other information to keep you informed about the activities of the Tahltan Band leadership and administration.  Your views are very important to us and we invite you to communicate with us at info@tahltan.ca.

Yours sincerely,

Chief –Dun’na eh (Rick McLean)
